And what happens to the CAL-P team that wins prizes and later is found to have used cheats?

Until they can get this game cheat-free anything less than CAL-I is a waste of time. I played in CAL for three seasons, then quit my second season in IM after having FOUR matches overturned due to the other clans cheating in ONE season. And now I see in a recent CAL cheater list some of the same people that hacked against my clan.

What's the point in spending all that time practicing as a clan if the other team is going to cheat you out of victory?

Controlling/eliminating cheating needs to be this league's top priority. But alas it may be too late for CS, perhaps CS2 will fair better.
Cheating is FAR less of a problem than you make it to be, and such is the case in a division of a league with much fewer clans (Premiere).

There's like 300+ clans in Intermediate, and it's the next step up from the bottom, Open. There's bound to be a few scrubs that slip through the cracks and hide it well enough to not get noticed out of 1000's of clans. But as each clan succeeds, they start to get noticed, thus why in divisions like Main and Premiere, if they make it that far, they will definitely be caught, sooner or later.

Not in my experience. Cheating IS a big problem, every single season we had atleast one match overturned. Now cheating above the IM level may be a lot less common, but in Open and Intermediate it's way out of control. Every season a handful of Main players get nailed for hacks too.
