Here's one for Counter-Strike players in Sweden, Denmark, and from 6th January, Germany too. CS-Manager is an online management simulation which places you in the same position as Team 3D's Torbull and SK's bds by allowing you to pick an elite CS team from a database of players.



CS-Manager allows you to choose tactics for your team and enter it in matches. In competition with other managers, you attempt to lead your team to victory in a number of leagues and cups.



This browser-based project has over 18000 members, and is looking to expand to encompass other countries. If you'd like to dabble, click here.

Newsflash: running a website requires resources. You see in my post how I say that this service has 18000 members? That's 18000 people who suck bandwidth from CSM. That's from two little countries.



Imagine if they opened the service to everyone in the world. Multiply members and bandwidth by ten, twenty, whatever.



Newsflash two: bandwidth requires cash.



Do you see where I'm heading here? Yes, it's unfortunate that the service is restricted, but they have their reasons. Additionally, the newspost does explain that this restriction exists. Finally, CSN, while US-oriented, does provide useful information to other countries.



This is a valuable service, and a valuable newspost. Just because you're from America doesn't negate that. I would advise further posts to move away from the current trend and would hope that someone could add some value to this discussion.

hello just newly registered here :P i am a Dane and i play csm. i would say that it's cool... i use much of my time on it :P Gamehopper what help would it be to find a proxy server when u don't know Danish,Swedish or German (i don't know if u know any of these but just wanted to WARN ppl). and hieverybody2 it costs 1 dollar and some cents (i don't know what the dollar is worth in the moment but isn't i 8, why the hell am i asking ppl from other countries ). and Street is right there is a lot of lag on the csm server they just moved the server so now they got a 100 mbit server or more of them dunno.



lets talk about the game :P when u register (which u do with a cell phone!) then u get 6 players, they are different from every team... for example i started with 1 newbie 2 amateur's 3 skilled ( there is 2 ranks more, pro gamer and all-star.) they have these skills: aim, teamplay, handling, playing IQ, calmness, quickness, experience and leadership. all these skills can be trained via some different training programs and/or PcW. every day u play a CW against someone in your liga. in Denmark there is 8 ligas (the highest is the 1337 liga) i don't know about Sweden(ppl say they have more) then u can update their tactics. u get a small map with some numbers at different places and then u can choose what player that shall stand there. u need to choose wisely or else your team gets killed in the matches. u can buy players or sell them. u can bett on other games and u can decorate ur clan page with stuff. there is a lot of stuff to do... hope somebody found it interresting and want to jain (if they can!).
