They are one of the most useful features in a forum. They will make certain text hidden in black until you highlight them. Useful for talking about a movie/game without spoiling the goods.

Cool ideas, CPL could benefit from having online betting, it would greatly increase the spectator aspect of the game. You would even see people speccing regular clan matches to get an idea of a clans performance before league play, studying their stats, watching individuals careers. SOME of that happens now, but you have to be pretty dedicated to check all that crap out without some sort of reason to.
I also like the knife round idea for the coin toss. It's kind of like the opening slapshot to a hockey game.
#7) Considering this league was just formed (even if it existed before, it's still new) and hasn't had any matches yet, I don't think your friend could exactly be an authority.
New leagues come and go, the only determining factor for their success is their willingness to listen to us, the gamers, and our willingness to accept them. If everyone says, stfu aswipe CPL is all we need... then they will dry up and disappear.
The only thing they should change, is how you get into leagues. Not just ANY clan should be able to join a league... they should have a minimum performance level before entering so that there is a more professional level of play. I'm not talking about HS either... just because you can aim doesn't mean you are good at strategy and co-ordinating attacks.Comment

A new league comes out every month, promising a bunch of new things and all these original ideas, but when it comes down to it, they die. None of the top caliber teams join the league, and since all of the lower caliber clans want to be just like the top caliber teams, they don't join either.
Sure, It'd be awesome to see a new league, but whens the last time a new league pulled a huge success like DoG\CAL and RGL\UGS.Comment

i think the knifing is good, a fresh idea and the people with knifing skills can show them and show that they are for some use. But the NO PISTOL round is gay. Always had that in cs and i havent heard anyone complain about that, on the other hand I think its the best round of the game. Pistol round is the only round that doesnt look like any other round, and u can show ur pistol skills.Comment

I have been in the league since it first started. And its not a bad league at all. Its now going to start its 7th season so you know its not one of those leagues that falls apart after a few tries. But for those of you who dont get it, this league isnt supposed to be like the other leagues. Dont bash it till you try it.Comment

I dont usally post on topics, but i have played in wccs in clan =CQB= for a while and its a great league. Im glad to see its getting some of the attension it deserves.
