    Cheating Death Beta Update

United Admins have managed to finally, after a long wait, release a Steam compatible Cheating Death version, albeit in beta form. They have promised for a full release of this anti-cheat client to be out "in the next few days", so remember to keep a heads up for that distribution.
After an uncomfortably long wait, a Cheating-Death beta that works with the latest Steam update is finally here. There will be a full release in the next few days. We would like to apologise for the time it took to release this update, this was due to the lead coder taking an extended break from UnitedAdmins several weeks ago.
In addition, UA is currently looking for any C/C++ experienced coders interested in filling up some open slots to be a part of the UA crew. You may contact right away, should you be interested. Or perhaps you want to try out the latest CD right now?

I long for the day when C-D was just the basics. A hook that confirmed that it was Cheating-Death while stopping other hooks.

Sorry I dislike the extras that UA seems to always add.

Just a heads up, when I tried to download Cheating-Death through the auto-update feature it didn't work. Just head over to the site, download it and install over your previous CD.

Remember, it is still beta, if they put it up for download on auto update, then there would be no point of a beta.

Calling it a beta is only an excuse for it to not work.

Is that some veiled reference of the past experiences of Steam and 1.6 as betas?

no i think he means that callign it a beta will somehow take the responsibility of the programmers backs in case it doesnt work. like a cheap cop-out if u will.
