That is true, but only after CZ and HL2. They made contracts years ago with Vivendi about those games, so no online release before retail is out.

An excellent point. Either Steam can't handle mass downloads of CZ, or ithe game really isn't ready, or Vivendi calls the shots about when Valve can release it that way. But They sure aren't using Steam as the "revolutionary content-delivery system" that they say it is. Outside of the frequent updates for bug fixes and whatnot (which could have been eliminated if they had released the full version of Steam later than they did), there's really been no benefit to switching from Won and 1.5 IMO. I do like the Galil a bit though.

I am still disapointed they are not going to include Ritual's models, they look so great. But it's not so much of a problem now because you can download them for 1.6. I do indeed have all of Ritual's player and weapon models working in 1.6. They look bloody great. Do some hard searching and you will eventually get there.

I'm pissed because CZ didn't come out two years ago based on CS1.0 with realbots and custom textures from a cs fansite.com.
