    CS:CZ Shots

GameHelper.com, which helps you with games, has posted 63 screenshots from the final build of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. The shots range from okay to mildly good to 1999, but gameplay is of course the most important thing when it comes to gaming.

CS:CZ itself is caught in the middle of an odd delay. The delay is seemingly coming from Vivendi, the publisher of CS:CZ; this is unheard of, considering a pre-holiday launch would have certainly brought in more money than whatever Condition Zero can earn now.

Pictures are sort of stupid, we all know what the graphics look like already because we've all played Counter-Strike. I still can't believe that Vivendi hasn't made an announcement when this game is going to be released, its insanity, i'm starting to wonder if they're even going to release the game. If they are going to release it, why the huge wait when they've already got the final version? It makes no sense.

The game is out on amazon.com, but yet not on co.uk or .ca.

it's might be their system changing close dates automatically to ship in x days.-

Wow you're right, the game is out on amazon i like the fact that there was no announcment of the release at all. Good job to Vivendi letting people know you've released a game... but still the game isn't available in any stores you can actually visit so it's not a full scale release yet.

I'm gonna laugh for a week if they really released it without telling Valve ;D we'll see if the Steam update tomorrow will bring something new. only if they will update on that crazy day..

I just dont understand why they are waiting for so long to release? First off, they missed the holiday season, second off, the longer they wait, the closer it get to the assumed release date of HL2 (which of course should bring CS2 soon after) ... waiting longer to release would make me just want to hold out for HL2.

Speaking from the experiance of working for Blizzard Ent. (parent company is Vivendi) and helping release Warcraft 3:Frozen Throne ... I do know that when a game goes "Gold Master" (which supposedly CS:CZ did a while ago) it is literally rushed to be produced for retail. This process usually takes a week to produce the first shipment and should hit the shelves in two weeks (AT THE MOST) ...

So my conclusion is either CZ is not done yet or something else fishy might be going on (like the whole project getting swabbed off by big-ups at Vivendi)

I heard Vivendi was getting sued by some company that deals with console games... maybe their legal troubles are delaying certain projects?

I just got off the phone with Miss Cleo, and she informed me that Condition Zero is actually nothing more than a mass-hallucination among all true CS fans around the world. I showed the site with the screenshots to a friend who doesn't play CS, and sure enough, she was seeing a 404 error! Clearly, this game was never in development, and it does not now, nor will it ever, exist in the real world. Think about it, it's a five-year-old engine for chrissakes! Of course they had no real plans to add onto it after so long. Sorry to break it to ya, folks. I know this may be a hard pill to swallow, but just remember that recognition is the first step on the way to recovery.
