New CSX Review

The Adrenaline Vault has reviewed Counter-Strike for the Xbox, or CSX. The rather short review covers the more important aspects of the game, namely the controls, maps and multiplayer experience quite well, and justifies their final score given to the game.

Big guns aren't everything in this competition, though, as there's no replacement for knowing what to do and when to do it. The levels are complex, with tons of cover and narrow gaps to shoot through if you know they're there. An experience player with a pistol can easily be deadlier than a newbie with a machinegun, considering one well placed headshot can make a world of difference. If you're crafty enough to sneak up on someone undetected, you might not even need a gun, as your trusty combat knife can take them out.

There is definitely much more to be read in this great review of CSX. So if still have not yet picked up that wonderful game with Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists running and gunning alike, then this review should be of high interest to you!

CSX is way better than Steam/Cs 1.6 (even though the bots suck compared to PODBot or Realbot) But still if you are looking for a better looking Cs with No Cheats multiplayer this is the way to go. Besides PC version Cs is doomed due to shitty programing.

LOL, Yeah im sorry. Xbox is doomed. You cant upgrade your graphics card, processor, or ram. I for one am getting tried of hearing about CSX and would appreciate if they would stop covering crap like CSX, its a cheap knock off of the real thing. The no hacking argument is valid, but give time that will change. CSX is rigid and i doubt they will push a lot of updates. Has anyone heard a bad thing about CSX? I for one would give it bad review. All i have to say is TV, and Controller. The res on normal TV is crap, and having to use a controller is crap too.



Im a die-hard gamer. I love the old classics like SMB, and Sonic. But I dont see CSX growing into anything like those or even coming close to the longevity that CS has. CS is 5 years old running on a 7 year old engine which is a moded engine is older then that, can any of you say Q2?



If you want to play CSX fine. Go have fun but i doubt many of us care about CSX and i would like to see a vote to see if anyone does.



We have some lame votes recently this one would actully be good interesting to see the result.

Upgrading your xbox is called buying the next console you fucking retard. Considering they cost about as much for an entire gaming machine as a id range PC video cards. It is also Ironic considering their non upgradable hardware still has a graphically more intensive version of CS then yours.

Well you obviously have not played CS at 1280x1024. It looks so much better then anything you can look at on normal tv. And if you want to throw the HDTV thing at me yeah, you can go buy an HDTV for more then what you would pay for a awesome computer with a 19in. You controller jockeys make me laugh. Go have fun with you $200 POS computer that cant do shit other then play crappy games that Microsoft lets out. Go play Halo and his crappy DS or CSX with you crap controller. To bad Microsoft has been smart enough to not let you idiots play with people on PCs. You guys would get owned. GL HF being stuck with your Xbox until the next thing comes out. I hope you like waiting for HL2 to be ported when the next console or maybe the console after that to come out.



Oh and its nice to know that my upgradable hardware gets a nice 100fps when you does not even break 40.



Oh i got a question how do you change your models in CSX? Or are you even able to take advangate of anything this site provides? Oh your stuck at the mercy of when MS decides to release a new map? Can you even DL maps from the net and put them on you Xbox? Have fun playing the same maps never playing any of the nice fy_ at we PC users can play.

All i want is to see it put to a vote. Does the csnation community want to see news about CSX? "Yes" or "No". And if you really want to have a 3rd one put "I don't care". I think that would be an excellent vote to see on the front page where the current cpl vote is. It would get down ot the meat and potatos of how people feel about CSX, instead of seeing a bunch of reviews about how a bunch of mags that run ads for it feel about it.
