Mini Steam Update

Slow going tonight, so here's a little talking point for you. A small Steam update was released today:

• fixed problem with command-line parameters not being passed through correctly (for shortcuts to launching steam games)
  
  
• optimized some steam networking code and decreased startup time

Just when you think they are dead over there they go and do something kooky like this! Keep up the good updates, and thanks to 7Shot for this item.

One problem many people need to log out of steam and re log in due to failure to steam ticket bs

Valve keeps making these minor updates to the games/steam that people usually dont complain about. Fix the demo bug wednesday plz :-)

just watch demos with hacks... they fix it even when theyre not loaded but just exist in the game directory.. and vac wont catch you for cheating cos ur not online (not like it would anyways but w.e)

i have a problem where im stuck left handed in 1.6. if neone knows how to fix this please tell me. Also since i'm playing left handed, when the shield is at my side which side will it protect? i havnt tried it yet.

i dont think it matters if you have left of right handed weapons

i didn't really notice a difference in the load times. oh well i never really thought steam took that long to load =]

Steam loads slower than Winamp3, which means it takes waaayyy too long. I like Steam though, i can wait a bit for a program with so much great stuff to load.
