    CS:CZ Leaked... Again

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero has been leaked, for the second time in its life. Technically, the first leak was of Ritual Entertainment's version of the game back in October when the HL2 source code was leaked. This latest leak is of the Turtle Rock Studios version of the game which we previewed in October. There's no telling how old or new this leak is, but I will say that I previewed CS:CZ the day after the big HL2/CS:CZ leak was discovered, so it's quite possible that the intruder had the Turtle Rock files on hand and had been waiting to release them.

Another possible leak source could be the game's publisher, Vivendi. Vivendi, parent company of Sierra, has seemingly been purposefully with-holding CS:CZ from release. A leak from a low-level employee would not be too out of the ordinary. In fact, many PC games are warezed days before release through similar internal piracy.

A third possible scenario is a member of the gaming press deciding to release a preview version of the game to the public.

Regardless of the how, why and when, CS-Nation recommends players avoid all illegal copies of CS: Condition Zero floating around. In fact, avoid illegal copies of any game.

If you'd like to bitch about CS:CZ or something, check out our CS:CZ forum hosted on the public CS-Nation Forums.

I hope this is not just an excuse. Dang, stupid hackers. I want CZ really bad... I hope it doesn't get delayed again (Is there any point in hoping?).

Also, I am wondering, where did you find out it has been leaked? Source? Website?

next csnation poll: what will come out first hl2 or cs:cz or cs2?

this leak is gonna be another excuse to not release cs:cz on time again!!!

right now there are 17 cs:cz servers with a total of 50 people playing, wonder how many more will be added by tomorrow

it seems like leaking is a better way to deliver content than via Steam

I think it's just some fag employee giving his friends a demo and then it spread. gg.

Seriously, this game will nnnneeeevvvvveeerrrr finish. Turtle rock should just count there losses and give up completel; in other words, they should just salvage CS:CZ entirely. Maybe I'm too harsh, but, in the longrun who really wants to wait for a single-player version of CS that has been in the works for over 2 years?

I think giving in on the development on the game is as good as giving in on the small minded people who cause the problems in the first place.

                      Meh I'm probably wrong...

The problem is it IS finished. Apparently Vivendi doesn't like to sell products.

Why would that want to do that?
