1) Most people don't have 20 spare machines lying around for that function. I am sure all of us geeks would be happier people in general if we did.



2) "superior connections" - unqualified comment. If you said "my office sits on top of the root node for ATT in NYC and we peer to 1000 other providers, there fore we have superior connections". What kind of office connectivity do you have?

2) MIT has a nice 80MB/s optical connection to educational backbone and an 10MB/s connection to .com so its usually nice and fast.
