    CAL-o Registration Opens

CAL-Open registration has begun. Teams will have a few weeks to create their teams in anticipation of the next season of Cyberathlete Amateur League play. In CAL, teams of five compete with each other to advance to higher leagues. The reward of winning a match comes with bragging rights and a good time with your team.

If your team was in CAL-Open last season and was not moved up, the team will need to re-register. Any moved up teams do not need to register again.

QUICKLY EVERYONE INTO THE CESSPOOL YOU GO!

If you can get into a CAL-IM or -M clan, DO IT! CAL-O is the most severe punishment that a counter-strike player could ever imagine. Teams that don't belong in cal-o are going to be playing against you, and by don't belong I mean teams that should be in Main or teams that think practice is going against podbots with knives as they rush with TMPs, every other week. CAL is just a bad league overall, and most of its problems come from it being way too big and unwieldy.

If you didn't get moved up from open, just do everyone a favor and not reregister.

lol ur clueless... cal-main teams arent even good anymore, its what cal-im used to be 2 seasons ago. And they wouldnt bother playing vs cal-o teams whilst using tmps. The only reason not to participate in cal-o through cal-m is because of the large ammount of hackers. (current counterhack statistics state that 3/5 people cheat in cs).

Wow, 3/5, that is quite a brave number.

I get the feeling it isn't /that/ bad.... but maybe.

So only new teams in CAL-O if everyone who didn't get up can't move on? That would suck.

Too high. 1 in 5 is getting daring. More like 1 in 7 or 1 in 8. Still that is too high of an average.

First of all, i'm sure clans like Forsaken, cuT, and F1 are terrible clans. They're in main, after all, so obviously they "arent even good anymore" right. Second, whoever thinks that over half of the people who play CS are cheating, then they have something wrong with their mind.

I love submitting news items. Anyways, to agree with you all, I have signed up a new team as my cal-im team broke up last season.

Let me simplify what I said so your small and feeble mind can understand it.

When I said 'teams that should be in CAL-M' I meant "good" clans, as in clans that are better than 95% of CAL-O teams. When I said 'teams that think practice is rushing podbots who have knives with TMPs' I meant "bad" clans, as in about 30-40% of Open. It's not fun to have the potential to lose 24-0 one week then win 24-0 the next. That's what CAL-O is, randomly playing a powerhouse one week, then 5 people who play CS on their year-old $200 Dell computers that their parents bought them for their 11th birthday the next week.

the problem is your listening to the kids who say "yo we're cal-m reformed" or say they're cal-i, scrim against someone who is REALLY in cal-m then talk

as for 3/5 people cheat in cs, i would agree that if it was 3/5 people HAVE cheated in cs in some way
