I mean, the console has such commands as 'mp3', 'play', 'stop'...



play and stop might be for demos, but those commands seem to be 'viewdemo' and 'stopdemo' instead...dunno.



If there is a way to play mp3's without a 3rd party program, what is it?

You need to type out the file names, and they must be in your steam(?) folder.

using hotkeys on your keyboard. you can bind them with winamp im pretty sure (if not, theres a plugin for it), but i have a knob and 5 buttons build in on my keyboard. btw, why do people want in-game control of winamp? the sound bug that you lost sound with when u minmized in 1.5 is fixed in 1.6..that was my only problem. or maybe its that people have 128mb of ram and they minmize slow. those are the only problems i can come up with
