The only time I ever see servers using CD is on FireArms and nobody really cheats in that game (on the ***** servers). Same thing with Natural-Selection. It's almost pointless to cheat in that game.

It's called Mediator, and it's been around for a long time. It's intended to let players without C-D "try out" the server for a while before enforcing C-D. When I ran a C-D enabled server, it really helped in making the transition away from VAC.



Mediator is not used on all C-D servers, so perhaps it's foolish to say "CD servers are stupid" on account of this one experience. :)

Usually we just let the small stuff slide, but this comment thread had an abundance of off-topic and rule breaking posts. New users should read the rules, and long-time users should also be reminded of the rules from time to time. As for flaming, it is not tolerated here at CS-Nation. The comments are a place for discussing news topics and not a place for child-like fighting that you might see on other boards and forums.



Just for the record, out of 93800 comments, only 2.2% of those have been deleted. And out of 204356 registered users, only eight of them are currently/temporarily banned.
