Is it me or is gameplay a lot erm...smoother...now? Like as if the characters are moving more fluidly instead of the previous "jagged"?...

ha i went 20-3 on a server today just using the g3 and going bridge on aztec. the sad thing is is that i wasn't really trying

the "smoothness" is caused by an optical illusion of the shadow moving across the ground. the movement is exactly the same im afraid.

Sounds like every game of CS, but replace that autosniper with M4A1 and you're good to go.

I LOVE THE AUTO-SNIPERS!!! I have only tried the g3, but lemme tell you, I was pwning people in dust2 like no tomorrow. 2 shots to body = dead.

i also love all new speedhacks now! i just played in a server with four different people w/speed hacks. The irony of it all was that steam forced me to download a security module before entering the room with the hacks. Server admins restarted just in case before banning, but they came right back in. Good times

i am loving the new auto sniper..too bad my steam is all messed up..i mean i have to put in my cd key every day..that is not fuin..takes like 45 seconds..but it is a hastle...game is running great whjen i get it...auito sniper is bloody awesome...awp with auto power...classy gun...



anyone else have the cd key problem..havin to put it in everyday>?

I never had to put mine in, it just grabbed it from my existing HL installation.



The G3-SG1 definitely seems to be the preferred autosniper, though, as it's apparently almost up to scout levels of performance now, at a much higher rate of fire. Well, for that much money, it might as well do something useful. Thanks VALVe. :)

yea well this update has rendered my server to run only on RCON. AMX, AdminMod and such arent working at all. Valve really screwed the pooch on this one.

Speed hack was almost as funny as skin hack. Do you people remember skin hack? Just hit a few keys and you can have whatever CT skin you want while you were a T, or vice-versa. It made for really interesting permutations in strategy, especially if you had the patience to let the opposing team overrun your position and then pick up an M4 and open up. So much love.



Yup. CS is more fun when Valve leaves these little things in there for us.

haha, totally. i remember looking at one of my teams (T), ask him to cover me, and then watching him turn into a ct and kill me, mafia style. That would actually be an interesting feature, sort of a 'spy' mode. Only one per team, is randomly chosen by the computer each round, and they have the option of not using it at all.

Regardless, you can just put centered names on, and look at the color of the text, I suppose. Yes, it was somewhat amusing back in the day, but ultimately I'm glad it's gone. About the only bug that I still enjoy at this point is boosting through ceilings. Ahh, so much fun on assault or oilrig, lol.
