Oh and did you hear of the recent fix for the auto snip? ITS DEAD ACCURATE! So all you CT's might want to invest in the shield not only to counter AWP, but the auto snip now too. I think the autosnip will be used alot now for its fast ROF for a sniper gun, and its power. 2-3 non head shots kill.
Opie does make a good point there.
Arent those jobs? Of course a game is not going to be created by a bunch of kids.Comment

well what do you know one guy who knows everything about advanced material design.guide your kind attendance to the following link defore you quote my comment you *** (fill in with apropriate words) www.composiflex.com thats for all who have doubt about the shields stopping power
What are you? F***ing stupid? A ceramic shield would be so brittle it's not even funny. You can not empty a whole clip of an assault rifle into a shield and not have a scratch. Quit using Hollywood movies as a guide to realism.
but this does not change the fact that it is crappy as sh** in the game becouse of the bad hitbox handling of the engine
bogus this html code is not invented for me so here is the link again
composiflex armors
(and noone knows what else the military has up there sleves: heve you seen the picture of the american troops assault helmet wich had 4! ak47 rounds in it and the guy was alive without a scratch?? even CNN interwieved him...)Comment

The following 25lb ballistic shield offers NIJ level III protection, tested to defeat 6 rounds of .308 Winchester FMJ at ~ 2,750 fps (Metric: 7.62x51mm NATO at 838mps)
http://www.highcomsecurity.com/law/Ball...shields.shtml
FYI, Level III protection may be comprised of ~1/4" Ballistic Steel (6mm), ~1/2" Ceramic (13mm) & ~1" Polyethelene (27mm).Comment

Look, the comedic aspect of its appearance adds to the game, not detracts. In that sense its somewhat like the awp -- If someone has to use it to win, they at least had to look rediculous doing it. Maybe I've just been playing too much WC3 mod.
[Shield] looks ridiculous. Is it really so bad to hate something because it looks fucking stupid?

Sigh, you people just dont try hard enough. Why do I even bother to post here, I am probally talking to a bunch of 12 or 14 year olds who just care about what they want and nothen else.
And no I am not in CAL at all. I hate CAL. For one reason. It's 12 year old maturity. I could care less about leagues for online gameplay. I think "professional" gaming is pethetic.
Your emphasis on a person's age is pathetic. If you're trying to make a point, try not to make a point out of the fact that you were born before someone else. That's amazingly low.
Hell, I'm 14, and I type and spell alot better than the majority of people above my age. So is it somehow relevant to my maturity or somesuch? Please.
Shield is good. When used in moderation. It's no fun, obviously, when someone exploits it. Or a whole team whores over it. Otherwise it's good. But for the basis of realism, it's pretty pathetic, but this isn't exactly a realistic game here, folks...Comment

I agree. Maturity really is almost independent of age (after people pass about 9 years of age). Look, I'm 153 and I still act like I'm about 6 years old.
