The awp takes skill, just like any other gun. The awp takes less skill in pubs just because there are so many people who suck (aka people who bitch about the awp. Yes, if you bitch about the awp, that means you suck) jumping right into the path of an awper then watching him kill more newbies for 4 minutes. The shield is unrealistic, but it's more unrealistic than some of the other unrealistic things in the game. If CS was some sort of alternate universe, and people didn't know anything about how things work in real life, they would still think the shield is dumb for the simple fact that you can shoot through concrete walls but not a 3 inch thick piece of metal.
Yes, shooting through concrete walls is unrealistic, but it makes some sense within the game. The shield directly contradicts this; that's why it's so bad.
Plus it looks ridiculous. Is it really so bad to hate something because it looks fucking stupid?Comment

it is made of composite ceramic material end it does stop almost all projectiles (only seen a video of empying a 5.56 cal ak-74 at it & not a scratch behind it)
i personally hate the sield becouse i feel it very disturbing when someone ducks in a corner and you just cant tear the shield off and spill his guts on the floorComment

What are you? F***ing stupid? A ceramic shield would be so brittle it's not even funny. You can not empty a whole clip of an assault rifle into a shield and not have a scratch. Quit using Hollywood movies as a guide to realism.

Ummm no, I am 19...and I try to type to fast alot, also known as typos.
And no I am not in CAL at all. I hate CAL. For one reason. It's 12 year old maturity. I could care less about leagues for online gameplay. I think "professional" gaming is pethetic.
But again that is just my opinion. And I could also care less for your flames about me. End of story.Comment

The shield should stay its just something else the Counter-Terrorists can use to their advantage. Besides it's not like they can use a rifle while holding the shield. Also reloading is another problem for the Counter-Terrorists because u cant hold the shield up while reloading.
Who cares how old you are besides Counter-Strike is really made for people from 12-18. Shouldn't people above that age limit be in college or have a job or something?Comment
