    Mercenary Wars

RuNNing MaNN Technologies has made available public testing of their new venture called Mercenary Wars. Much like Ultimate Arena before it, users to this service make money by essentially playing what everyone loves, Counter-Strike. By playing on different skill challenges in public servers, you can watch your money rise up in real time by the number of kills you make, skill of opponent, and choice of weapon you use. Not only that, but you are able to register a clan in the WarStreet stock market. The purpose of this is to recruit members, trade shares, issue stock, and more. If you're interested on this matter, click this link right now for the full details.

Yea. Sell drugs, easy money. I sell grass clippings to kids. Grass clippings are the newest drug out, all you have to do to get them is mow your lawn.

One thing that has bothered me since first hearing and playing this is CHeating...it's still not easy to get rid of hackers and one smart one could make quite the load of money.

has anyone else wondered why it requires you to download and run their software.... also it can't be real money - because when i signed up it didnt need any payment details off me.

              think about this one:

what do hackers/spyware/cunts target? software that is likely to target a huge userbase (ie. CS)

what incentives do they use to get you to run their software? promise of money

i dont trust if, and if it all blows up in 2 months i wont be surprised! is it pay to play cos money dont come from no where, unless its fake money like in cs....

and how many cs players are over 18? not alot judging by all of the pre-pubesant squeaks you get over the voice comms.

Actually, at the moment, the service in the Beta testing stage, so that's why you don't have to deposit any money. They give you 6000 to play around with. The program you have to download allows the site to update your stats in realtime, and hence keep track of all the money that you have earned (or lost).

As Sonus wrote it's betatest so it's not real money until end of betatest.

Client is needed mainly for authentication because HL SDK won't give you access to standard password so they must bypass it with client.
