#30, hahaha man you should be an heir to Conan's throne. Ok, who belive this bullshit? I bet they haven't even made CZ yet, they probably just doctored up a bunch of old CS renders and faked up a menu system and shit. Of course, none of this affects me as I was never going to buy the game anyways.

Just a quick note all. You can bank on HL2's release east early next year at the earliest. I really think it has to do with video card sales and until ATI and Nvidia sell enough $300 cards. HL2 and CS:CZ will be pushed back until the sales have met or exceeded projections. On the other hand this could all be a bunch of crappola. But, its more than Valve is saying right. BTW, CS for Xbox rocks! Just my ranting.Comment

i say they just release the English version of the game on steam now, and then release the other language versions as soon as they are finished, and then worry about releasing the game through the traditional format. i think that by giving steam users an advantage, by giving them the game first, they could encourage Steam's use.Comment

I don't think the content servers could handle a giant load of people downloading CZ, they'd either need some dedicated bandwidth just for CZ or more content servers to handle the load. I dunno, that's just my two cents on that issue, I would like to see it released asap though, been wanting to try CZ for quite a while.Comment

you know, the more i think about it, the more it makes perfect sense to me.
if you released the game first on steam, you would have technically "released" the game, thereby silencing everyone who has been complaining about the delays. so what if the game isnt on the shelves at ebx right now, you will have given the game to the fans who are rabid enough to try out this new system.
releasing the game on steam first will promote this new "content delivery system" by actually having it deliver some new content, and at the same time prove that it is easier and more convenient.Comment

I was betting on a Nov. 18th release... at least XIII made it on time, just as promised.
Heck, I just can't believe how they weren't even able to SAY anything... not even ON the release date. Such BS.Comment
