Condition Zero Status

Jess Cliffe from VALVe has reported on the update of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. In his statement, he talks about the release Condition Zero for PC coming very soon.

I've been getting questions about the release of Condition Zero, and wanted to put out an update. We're done with development on the English version and have submitted a replication master to Sierra for manufacturing. Right now, we're doing some additional work on the foreign versions and are hoping to have those wrapped up and submitted to Sierra this week. Sierra has not confirmed retail release dates for the product but we're hopeful it will be available shortly.



On the Xbox front, Microsoft has released Counter-Strike for the Xbox in North America and it is in stores. It will be shipping in all other territories in the coming days. CSX is getting strong reviews (e.g, "This is the shooter / combat title of the holiday season"), and we've already surpassed our initial load-in forcast on the game.

Great news for Xbox fans, bad news yet again for PC hopefuls. Let's wish that the work on the PC version of CZ will be completed sooner than expected. For more information, head down over to this link.

they never actually said it would be released yesterday, they just say around the same time as csx....sigh

i like how csx come out before condition zero a guess thats why microsoft is the bigest software company in the world and that valve the other 10 companys involved in csz arnt. sigh i wish microsoft would have taken over the csz project at least we would have had csz by now

Whens HL2 coming out, was that delayed or are they still shooting for a holiday season release? It would be amazing if Valve released HL2 on-time, it would probably be a first for them since they failed to do so with CSZ.

I think we've already established that there is no way in hell that is going to happen because "on time" would have been last September.

Not even close, try April 2004....and about CZ, translating shouldn't be too bad, they prolly aren't doing many languages, only German and French most likely....so CZ will hopefully be out before holiday season......



And when I called my Gamespot about CZ yesterday, they said the 18th of Dec...so maybe, maybe
