Shockwave of TeamXbox has reviewed Counter-Strike for Xbox. The game receives a 4.2 over-all rating, and the review is over-all very positive. Here's a quote:

Believe me, this is the shooter/combat title of the holiday season and a very good way to hold yourself over until Halo 2 is set forth on the Xbox. Sounds like Shockwave really enjoys the game!



In related news, Kraft has posted his CSX San Francisco article over on Xbox Addict. Just yesterday, we posted an article about the CSX event in San Fran, and GameSpot and GameSpy reviewed the game. CSX is being released today.

Gamespot is the one of the rare websites that makes objective review of any game. Take for example the crappy boring Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG.

Better things to buy with your money than that.

Hmpf well getting back on track I for one am NOT going to buy one (Have you seen the size of those controllers? Need a grip like a Gorilla!) and anyways. Everyone agrees that mouse keyboard beats controller hands down.



You would expect X-Box owners to jump for joy, divorce their wives, dump girlfriends, get intranvenous feeds) because to be quite honest what else do they have?



Halo does not scratch the surface of CounterStrike, and, well, they have nothing else to play on the X-Box.



All X-Box owners may as well have saved their money and some and then bought a pc!



Stands without reason that it will be big on the X-Box. =)

I love how people review the game that haven't even played it. Then call other peoples reviews that actually did play it, bogus. At least play the friggin thing before shooting it down.

went into game uk today and pc world uk and they said that csx aint comin out till 5th dec and that they said cs:cz for pc was out last week but they aint received a copy of the game at the store because it aint been sent off, whats goin on ???

Seems that when Microsoft are the ones who would be moaning at you, developers make sure that the game gets out at least in the week it's sposed to.



But yet again, Condition Zero isn't released on date; it was due out today. Yet all the (UK based) sites I have visited claim it will be anything from at least another month, 19th December, to next february until it is released, and not even a "sorry to get your hopes up, but it's gonna be late again" from anybody involved in the project
