CAL-i Season 9 Match 1 Finals Result

#1 TSG over #2 3D (13-8)(7-5 TSG as T)(6-3 TSG as CT)

They did it. TSG pulled through without two huge stars. Without Shaguar or Method, TSG still came up with the win. 3D still has a chance but they will have to win both tomorrow and on Wednesday. After winning five rounds on the CT side of the map, 3D looked poised to take the second half. The map, de_dust2, is tilted toward the T side, but that didn't seem to matter to TSG.



TSG's Dominator AKA Josh was probably the biggest reason that they won the match. He had 28 frags total, 12 of which were in the nine rounds on the CT side. Steel had a very disappointing second half of the match. After scoring eight kills on CT, he finished the match off 0-8 on T. It will take another awesome performance by a member of TSG to win the next matches. Hopefully, 3D and Steel will put up a bigger fight tonight on de_train.

I want to see the match go into continuous overtime, untill it's finally decided by the subsequent death(s) from exhaustion. See, that way I'm objective, and don't favor one team over another.

Still, it's sad that a phenomenal player like Steel would go an entire half without a single kill.



I, for one, hope that 3D can pull off a win on train, if for no other reason than to force it to three matches.
