CAL-i Season 9 Finals Match 1 :: de_dust2

Is there a more exciting matchup in North America than 3D vs. TSG? I can't think of any. These teams proved themselves over the 16-game CAL-i regular season schedule, finishing first and second. If you're going to watch one match on HLTV or view one demo, this is the one you should see.



In their last match, 3D beat another one of the division winners, u5. The match was extremely close but 3D was able to prevail in overtime. Hopefully, at least one of the two or three matches will be as exciting as that one was. With the new format of best two out of three matches for the finals, luck should be less of a factor in a team's victory.



TSG has the history on their side as they have beaten 3D four straight times. But with Shaguar and Method in Brazil bootcamping with the new GX team it will be hard for TSG to come up with a win here. Shag and Method are two of the best players in the world and can't be replaced no matter who takes their place. Like in most finals matches, the map will be de_dust2.

Since ShaG and Method will be joining the new GX next season and are in Brazil (not available for these matches) they are no longer on the roster. Sucks for the other members of TSG though that they will be gone for the finals.
