ClanMod / StatsMe Reborn!

United Admins have announced the creation of a new project - TITAN - which will eat up ClanMod and StatsMe. Those products will be replaced by TITAN::Stats and TITAN::Admin.

What does this mean for ClanMod and StatsMe? Both projects will continue to be developed, with the combined talent of the TITAN team until we produce the first Public Beta of TITAN.

TITAN will be a modular, cross-game development. This means that not only will you get new goodies in Counter-Strike, but they might even be available for your other online games! More information on this exciting new development can be found here.

Sounds pretty nifty... though I hope in all cases the ability to disable certain features client-side is retained. Sometimes the extra stats all over your screen just ruin the immersion effect of the game.

For the love of God I hope so as well. It's not that it takes from the .. immersions.. but its kinda fucking hard to concentrate on aiming when your crosshair is owned by "OMGLOLNOOB DID ELEVENTY-FIVE DMG TO YOU LOLZ", "GUYS THIS SERVER ROXORS, DONT HAX THX", and "WTF LOL YOU KNIFEZORED HIM LOLoLoLoL.oLO".

Statsme is just plain annoying, especially when it wont turn off which is 95% of the time for me.
