I watched Nick's demo, it was painfully blatant. Hopefully CAL will recover from this without further incident.

he's been accused so many times before, and i'm positive CAL has recieved demos of him hacking before this incident. it took WAY too long for him to be found guilty by cAL

I just saw the demo, and besides the two rounds he used scout, I couldn't tell if he was hacking. How did Cal came to this conclusion? Did they use a hack to view the demo to determine if he was walling?

Thats why he used Scout in two rounds only, he knew it was too obvious. Remember, it's hard to know good cheater, but look at strange mouse movements since the first seconds of the demo. He is pointing exactly at CT's direction and then quickly point his mouse somewhere else so it wouldnt lokk like a cheat.

just goes to show admins do abuse their power.



ANd Valve should enforce a server id number for servers and admins that abuse thier power will cause that id to be banned an bye bye server, would bring alot of admins into line. Probably a 2-3 caught admins rule not just 1, ie 1 admin caught then they have 1or 2 more chances to get good admins if theyt cant even handle recruiting good admins server would deserve to be banned. You get the idea im sure.

CD Keys associated with folks that break the EULA should be banned from Steam... that would help. Not too many people would like to pay $10-20 every time they get caught hajcking. In two years we'll all be playing CS2. If CAL goes with CS2, which will be Steamed as well, it should be even more incentive to VALVe to start coming down on cheaters.

the program they are using to cheat is a hack of counter-strike, is it not? therefore they are hacking the game each time they use the program. just because they didnt actually make the hack or dont know anything about how it works, doesnt mean squat. they're still "hackers," simply because of the fact that they are hacking the game.



they are cheating, but at the same time they're also hacking.



i dont see why people try to make out the word "hacker" to be something great. oh i know why, it's probably because they read that little text file about how hackers arent crackers and how wonderful they are.

CAL sucks, they've been routinely banning "cheaters" who aren't cheating because their anti-cheat team doesn't have a clue. This is just one more example of how lame CAL is. There's been at least a few occasions where the demo in question has been posted for public scrutiny and it turns out there's nothing even remotely suspect in the demo, yet somehow the "experts" at CAL think there is and the player should be banned for a year from CAL play.
