PDXLAN Announced

HeadTrip wrote in to reveal details of PDXLAN, Portland Oregon's 500 person, 4 day LAN Tournament. They are hosting a number of games, but I like to think that Counter-Strike is their special little friend.



They've got over $35,000 worth of prizes including NVIDIA graphics cards and Intel kit. Additionally, they have unlimited soda at this event. Yes. Unlimited.



It's held on January 16th, 17th, 18th, and ends on the 19th. If you prepay by November 15th you are entered to win a Pentium 4 3.00Ghz processor with Motherboard! Their generosity astounds even me!

Its a pretty damn fun lan I must admit! Been there since the first one 2 years ago. Cant wait to go back and at least this time its not on a Holiday :P IE the 4th Of july.

Yeah, this event will be awesome. I went to the one in July and will return to this one. I am even a wittle sponsor. The prizes and people are great. Oh- I live in Portland, OR btw. Woohoo.
