UGS Stance on Riot Shield

With the decision of CAL allowing the use of the Riot Shield in league play, United Gaming Syndicate has a different view in this matter. Despite the recent updates by VALVe to fix the bugs that were synonymous with the shield, UGS has decided to stand in their original position of not allowing the use of the shield.

Although some "fixes" have been implemented the Riot Shield is still flawed. The RS has been somewhat of a hot topic since its introduction with the CS 1.6 update.



A majority of gamers feel that the item isn't a good addition to this level of play and we agree. UGS will continue it's stance for Season 5 and not allow the use of the Riot Shield in official league matches.

The shield is really no problem, the awp is. Also is it me or is the picture of the day getting more and more lamer?, why walk, when you can ride on your gun, omfg, that's completely retarded.

props to ugs because using the shield is ridiculous. i am assuming that just about every clan doesn't wanna use it, so most clans wll just agree not to use them, and cal will realise that it was a stupid idea.

i agree...the shield is ignorant.....i think awp is cool..i have no problem with that....only poeple who dont no how to use the awp complains about it.....sheild is just gay...
