It doesn't bother me all that much, unlike the obvious amount of people we all can see whining and crying because "VALVe is gay".. well stfu. They obviously have made great programs and games in the past, since you seem to play them. And as CheesyLeps said, more time for PC upgrades. :-)

I got HL as a present.... only use it for CS... which is not a VALVe created game... so... VALVe is gay.

I love it how people continue to say, "VALVe owes us." I can't wait to half-life 2 comes out but it's sad that this happened. I like to believe people aren't idiots and understand what VALVe is going through.. But no.. "VALVE WAS STUPID FOR NOT DISCONNECTING INTERNET!!!1" is all I see.

I disagree. The source getting leaked and a 'beta' build of the game getting leaked are two very different things. The 'beta' getting leaked isn't going to hurt VALVe at all because it contains almost no useful storyline and isn't even close to what the final product will be. If anything, the 'beta' leak holds fanboys' hunger for HL2 at bay until it's released and that's all. It won't hurt sales in any way and there's nothing VALVe can do or should do about the 'beta' leak. For the source they have to spend money recoding it and that's just a pain in the ass.

With Half Life 2 out... people have ALREADY ported the original half life into the source engine... and probably made Counter Strike as well... I have not seen living proof of this, but it's pretty hard to doubt...



Can't wait for Counter Strike 2... and I'm not touching or watching any beta versions of half life 2...
