Why do people think that the source code for HL2 cant be leaked? Just looking at Microsoft Windows, it's always some how out on the net. I rather have valve delay instead of having people hacking the code and screwing up the whole game

It doesn't bother me all that much, unlike the obvious amount of people we all can see whining and crying because "VALVe is gay".. well stfu. They obviously have made great programs and games in the past, since you seem to play them. And as CheesyLeps said, more time for PC upgrades. :-)Comment

I like how you didn't try to be funny with this topic, as this topic is nothing to laugh about.
Indeed, CS cannot live forever without HL2. I feel that the HL2 leak will cause some serious harm to Valve's bank account. However, they will get over this, and I trust that when it is released, it will be of great quality.
I, personally, try not to ponder the thought of a company decieving its customers. It true that the existence of a hacker, or of a working code, could be debateable. But you have to keep in mind the Valve is a pretty reputable company, and a lot is at stake when a company lies, and a lot of things can go wrong. I doubt Valve would have wanted to announce a game that they didn't have, or lie about a hacker that never existed.
On a side note, I doubt HL2 (and HL) fans would really like Max Payne 2, I mean c'mon, HL2 is a very BIG game, and it will dwarf all others.Comment
