personally the shield was balanced at once back in beta when it only stopped smg's and most pistols no fkin way does a riot shield stop an ak at point blank plain and simple

You know, I just might play in OGL considering how much the shield really is crappy. Atleast the game is more fun there... The point is, matches are a lot more fun without that... thing. Think about it, everyone on ct holding a shield while terroists just blast away and finally get hs'ed by a pistol. This isn't counter-strike we're playing anymore, its stupid-strike.

the shield flat out sux. there are some people that use it round after round after round. it gets annoying after a while. but i guess it is a good idea to switch teams halfway thru the match. but it often happens that if someone doesnt like the shield, they dont practice with it. so switching sides might not really do anything. perhaps they can balance out the shield by giving the terrorists a second item slot for grenades. oh great, that just creates more problems, doesnt it?
