It fixed a bunch of problems that nobody was experiencing. By doing this, they gain the ability to say they make constant updates without actually fixing anything or adding new content. It's great for everybody...and by everybody I mean Valve.

dunno why so many people hate on valve so bad. ok they arent perfect, ok they arent philanthropists. they are a business. And compared to most game companies such as EA, they are very very community friendly. look how long they updated cs and even said they would be just as loyal to us again as they were in cs. Im sure some of you disagree with some changes they made etc. but if you werent so narrowminded and looked at it with a open mind youd see that almost every change they did was for the MAJORITY of cs players.
