Aside from the fact that newsbits have been done to freakin death in recent weeks, they simply make news reading a chore. Having to look through each sentence of a post to figure out what's going on is a hassle. There is a reason why news items have headlines.
Don't get me wrong -- newsbits are useful for reporting insignificant happenings when there is already a good amount of news, but when they are posted nearly every day with little else it becomes tiresome. I dunno, but being showered with a random "guess what -- some more amazingly delectable delicious juicy scrumptious yummy bits of news flavoured coated sugary goodness of bits" quote is getting old in the lack of proper news items.Comment

DchozN is just covering all the little stuff that normally might be passed over. There are 10 other news posters who are more than capable of posting full blown news items with informative headlines, and either there is no such news, or they are slacking off. But no matter the case, one news poster who likes to cover the little things in a condensed organized format isn't doing any harm. Any news is good news, it's not like it's replacing the more important news items. If we didn't have newsbits today we probably wouldn't have had anything.Comment
