          You're welcome CSNation community!
It's weird..I notice everyone with an avatar is happy about the decision that you wonderful CSNation people have made, and yet everyone else thinks it's crappy. I'd like to say I have been coming to CSNation for the past two years and have just recently become a CSNationalist. To the people who keep saying it's a bad idea; Make your own Counter-Strike site and put your own skins on there, everyone on this site works hard to keep everyone happy and to keep the site alive and you guys don't appreciate anything. To get straight to the point, I love you CSNation, you are god. And to anyone who thinks differently just because they got rid of the 1.5 models, Rizzuh will squish you.

I will surely miss browsing through the old archive, but progress is more important, I guess.

                    not everyone is winging

i just suggested to put the old models in an archive because some people still play 1.5 and they can be converted aswell

Honestly, just about everyone who is actually proficient enough with Milkshape 3D already has a huge archive of models that they've downloaded in the past, and they're free to convert those whenever. It would appears many people are complaining about their own lack of models under the guise of converting models, when in reality they have no intention of doing so. A separate archive would only encourage people to resist CS1.6 (which is futile), thus splitting the community.

Part of me was sad to have to kill all the old models, but another part of me realizes that this gives us a fresh start and weeds out a bunch of the really crappy models. Even better, it nearly rids the archives of puffycloud's old reviews, lol.

Riot shields are impractical to create and/or use, as so many models have to be replaced. I'm not reviewing any, and if I get my way section will be removed completely. As far as the "misc" models, a few extra got toasted that we weren't hoping to lose, so we should be able to restore those in the near future, I believe.

Finally, Spedmaster, you really don't need to know, and there's no poing in smearing someone's name over a moment of stupidity, so stop asking, eh? :) Thanks.

Keep on submitting awesome CS1.6 stuff to us! Please no more CS1.5 models... I've spent waaaay too much time downloading those over my 56k, only to find out that I have to delete them because they're outdated. Bah. :P

Bad move CNS. Many of the models were in fact left handed, so you eliminated all of them, and ahem, you eliminated all the elites (those, oh so popular, guns). There are model flippers out there which people can use
AFAIK, 1.6 p_ models are compiled differently, so merely flipping the models would not work, you'd have to recompile the 1.5 p_ to 1.6's format or whatever.

thats not the point only the V_ models have to be flipped to show up in the right hand

Can anyone tell me how to get by the Server Integrity Model Check? I cant seem to connect to any servers with custom models.
