Its funny how in the mailbag of CS 1.6 no one believed me that I heard of a offline steam. I guess this shuts them up. I rememeber the offline steam being talked about on GBL radio the night before steam was officialy released. Oh well I was right they were wrong. w00t!
As for pay for CS. Thats only big centers. You can still lan with your buds and such. Only lan centers are subject to those fees, that is if VALVe carries through with it.
.Sorcerer. wrote..I would imagine the hackers. The program should be able to tell which CD key was entered first, they can even go back to WON log files and go from there. I have a HL, blueshift, and CS cdkey. I baught all those games. So I have 3 cd keys. 2 of which I am using, the other just a back up for that just in case situation
It looks like the only remaining issue is whether to go to the store and buy CS:CZ or get it via steam.
The issue with the dupicate and bad CD keys should come in handy, but will it be effective? But what happens when you have only one CD key and a hacker has it as well which account gets deleted?
which brings me to another thing...why wasent blueshift ever included in the cache files of steam? I know its not multiplayer but it still would be cool :)
