WCG 2k3 Championship

In day 6 of the WCG, Team 3D and Team 9 faced off in the semi-finals to determine who would play SK in the championship match.



In gotFrag's Day 6 Diary, we see that Team 3D struggled a bit during the first half with a score of 4-8, but regained their composure during the second half and won the first map. In the second map, de_dust2, Team 9 had no chance and Team 3D took the semi-finals.



Everyone will be looking forward to the finals where SK.swe and Team 3D face off to determine the winner of WCG 2003. The match will take place this Saturday morning at 1:30am EST (10:30pm PDT). With both teams being known for their skill, it is sure to be a great match, and either team could take the win.



To determine Bronze Place, Team 9 and TeG will face each other on 4am EST (1am PDT), Friday morning.

3D > T9? Cool. I remember something about T9 kind of falling apart after the CPL. Is my memory incorrect? Indeed, if 3D beat the CPL t9 then I'm pretty impressed.

your memory is indeed incorrect. the "cpl team 9" didn't fall apart after the cpl. they lost one player (luciano) and recruited goodfella (ex-hlo/mtw.se). but this is kinda irrelevant because the "cpl team 9" and the "wcg team 9" are two different teams. the "cpl team 9" changed their sponsor (and name) shortly after cpl and are now known as "adrenaline". the "wcg team 9" are a danish team (the old team 9 consisted of swedish/norwegian players) and were previously known as "level".

Atleast 3D is consistent: Their fanboys claim they'll beat everyone even though they've only won 1 large event in the 2+ years they've been together. 3D fanboys say SK will get owned, even though they've won 4 (or more?) large events in a few months over a year. Then 3D loses and at the next large event fanboys will still say they'll win.



Cheering is one thing but if you're going to say your team will win, atleast have a general understanding of them and their competition. Not saying anyone particular on here does that (though they do), just saying.. in general.. ranting.. and stuff?
