    CAL-i Season 9 Week 6:2 :: de_nuke

With WCG overshadowing this week of CAL, and the first matches of this week turning out with a disappointing seven games total played, there does appear to be one redeeming factor: HLTV. I'm hoping there will be a broadcast for the 3DO vs. u5 match, as both teams have played extremely well this season. Remember, for both of these teams it's their first season of CAL-i. United 5 is currently one of two teams still undefeated - the other team is 3D, who won't be playing in CAL until next Thursday because of WCG - and if 3DO is on top of their game they certainly have a chance at the upset tonight.

The rest of the match ups seem to be carefully picked, with record and skill kept in mind. Expect more 13-11 scores and probably some more matches in overtime than normal.[break="naem's rave"]WEW (2-9) vs. hs (2-8)

    GW (3-8) vs. TSO (3-8)

    ICE (6-4) vs. zEx (6-4)

    3DO (8-1-1) vs. u5 (9-0)

    Rival (10-1) vs. shock (8-1-2)

    Nerve (3-8) vs. BiO (3-8)

    e7 (7-3) vs. TEC (7-3)

    e-- (4-6) vs. SYB (4-5)

    LaR (4-6) vs. Agent (4-7)

    Rdw (5-6) vs. LgD (4-7)

    TAU (3-7) vs. DZ (5-6)

    MV (5-5) vs. sR (5-5)

    Cc (4-7) vs. xeno (3-7)

    TSG (7-2) vs. EG (7-2) - Rescheduled

GotFrag has some good predictions of tonight's matches, if you're interested.

    3DO vs u5? Eeeeeentresting.

ps: if zEx doesn't beat ICE, i think it's time we got them "we're sorry, but you suck" cards from Hallmark. (j/k zExies, you know i luv ya!)

          Nice work naem and Fallacy!

nuke is an exciting map, hopefully more teams will be playing tonight so we get some demos for the Winter CPL (in addition to next season's demos).

Well I guess there's no HLTV. No immediately available CAL admins knew of any scorebots or HLTV IPs, and there was no trace of the subject in CAL news or GDTV.

We can always hope for next Monday, I suppose.

CAL opening new divison called CAL-xT...this is only for rescheduled matches, including the new TSG (7-2) vs. EG (7-2) match coming in. This xT division will be starting October 18th 2003. This will be the first time CAL opens a new division for seperate matters
