WCG 2k3 Day Five

gotFrag continues their great coverage as day five of the World Cyber Games commences.



Two popular European teams move on as the tournament progresses. Former CPL champions SK have granted themselves a spot in the finals after defeating Canadian team EG and Romanian team TeG. In an interview with Midway, Potti says that a Scandinavian finals with Team 9 would be nice.



Team 3D moves on after a troubling first match with mibr. After 3 OT rounds, the match was reviewed due to a flashbang mibr had thrown, and 3D took the win. Another defeat over French team aAa gave 3D a spot in the semi-finals with the other Scandinavian powerhouse, Team 9. This match will be very intense and exciting as the winner gets a spot in the finals with SK.

I don't see 3D winning this. SK seems on fire and 3D, while playing strong, just doesn't seem in control of their game. I wouldn't be surprised if they got beat by team9 before playing SK.

if your not gonna eat them I will take them. It would be nice to see 3D take it but I dont see them getting past team9.
