Yeah, well regardless whether this new verision turns out better than the old versions I still think this article has a bit of a vested interest/compromised whiff about it. It's remarkable that Valve can make such a hash of CZ and be responsible for something as astonishingly awful as steam (and it is awful - the fact that the client goes fubar when it can't connect to valave's servers is breathtaking) I simply do not understand :-l

i agree
...Honestly, I just HOPE sumthing is fishy and when the game ships, as some other person has mentioned, you can have a choice as to install high-res skins or keep your 1.6 skins b/c your p3 500 can't take the heat.
and i honestly hope rizzuh is joking about cs:cz (nothing personal rizzuh)Comment

I said this in the poll thread.
I talked to cliffe about the models. He said that the player models just wouldn't work: The animations were poorly done and would often do very weird things. Ritual was either unwilling or unable to fix it.
In my opinion, the weapon models looked worse so I really don't miss them.
I know that, in the end, it's what the consumer wants is what they should get, but unfortunately technical problems really stopped this from happening. It's really no big loss to me because they very much got the gameplay right, in my opinion.Comment

Unstabled as in maybe holes in arms or some parts of the gun being invisible. I want to know how CSX models worked out fine, why wouldn't CZ ?
I'm just depending on VALVe making their own new models and weapons. Since CZ went gold already, maybe VALVe will release this update later on a patch. Depends on VALVe.Comment
