i dont hate the original cs skins, they arnt ugly and stupid... they are simply classic! however i was excited to hear the possiblity of new better looking skins that could oneday be concidered classic... the menus are upsetting, they look thrown together and the green is just ugly. however i could get used to that but it would be so cool if the new poly skins were in... I honestly dont see a point in buying the game just becuase its a simple update (not saying it wasnt hard and time consuming to do) the 1.6 bots fairly updated and rad looking new maps but thats pretty much it... I dont see whats so appealing to you guys about this? is it just the title? what?



i wouldnt be surprised if somehow someone let the CZ maps be "leaked" or "converted" to work for CS... or if someone, somehow had access to the CZ bots and made them avaiable to download for CS in due time... but you know i dont know, im a big fan of cs ever sense the beginning so im staying loyal and buying CZ.

Not only am I discouraged about the gun models... I'm very discouraged about the "customizable player models." Remember? There were supposed to be like thousands of different combinations...



Also, the mission objectives "Kill so and so with a certain gun" is kinda lame. It should be "take out gen. so and so's terrorist operation" <-- ya know? lol



The only good thing I can see is that the in-game interface is like Steam's :) and the maps and BOTS will be better than we have had in the past

nicely said neo.. i remember how "no 2 teammates would look alike" it was all cool stuff back then. Anyone remember the video of the CT in the helicopter being shot at and the helicopter began to crash around the buildings? that was so rad!

LEAVE THE MODELS AND SKINS MADE BY RITUAL AND YOU CAN STILL HAVE YOUR TONY HAWK STYLE GAMEPLAY!

otherwise what in the fuck was the point of giving it to ritual? ALL those screenshots of the 'copter and the m-60, every fucking thing is worthless, we won't be able to tell that ritual even touched the godamn thing...



it will be interesting to see how it affects ppl who DON'T buy it, and how this thing about being able to play CS and HL with the source engine affects the whole situation.



valve, think dammit! you delay this game for such a long ass time for some super dee fuckin duper sp? COME ON.............



Honestly, I just HOPE sumthing is fishy and when the game ships, as some other person has mentioned, you can have a choice as to install high-res skins or keep your 1.6 skins b/c your p3 500 can't take the heat.

Well now CZ is actually coming out now, i thought that with all these delays i thought we would have to wait another few yaers by then CS2 would be out kicking its ass. Anyway it sounds fun and has a bit more variety than going round a corner and getting shot by some CPL player or h4x0r and getting annoyed...



BRING ON THE BOTS, and if there is any spare time at least lob in a new weapon or two, a G36 or SA80 would be cool

hmmmm, reads a bit like an advertorial to me. Seems a bit like riz felt he owed something to someone for giving him special access, not just to this but to CS related stuff in general. Let's face it, CZ is gonna be pretty average at best. I for one think the whole idea of a single player CS isn't too clever and smacks largely of an attempt to generate extra income from the license. The whole point of CS is multiplayer, period.
