I just hate hacker clans..

remember children stereotypes are ALWAYS right...no matter what.

When I said sham i was referring to the whole idea of hl2 of course the hacking thing is no sham but according to the hacker the "uncripted engine" was. So was their display at e3 according to hacker.

And don't say #86 jesus we aren't gamespy.

The one thing im worndering, how ironic is all of this? They lose hundreds of thousands of dolars, if not millions. The day after the mother company Vivendi merges with NBC (don't ask me how, i know there owned by GE). But this loss of money does seem tiny when the projected yearly income will be around 14 billion dollars.

And what's your point? The game was already pushed back before the leak.

You're really just showing your ignorance of the industry. A pre-alpha product is not ready for anything except in very limited circumstances. Valve showed very limited circumstances to promote their game. What did you want them to do? Show a blue screen and 404 error at E3?

No one ever called the game unscripted. That's just dumb.

Well, I'm just going off of what a bunch of those fools at places like gamespy and such have said, you know the "rumors" ok maybe I shouldn't believe them.

And myg0t tried to go after csn??? Well they didn't get it thankfully and obviously.

Yea they are just a bunch of however you described them (I'm not typing all that up)

Once again...I'm wrong..and look like an asshat...oh well...back to the rock.

There's a difference between offering a program freely because you already have enough money (look at IM programs, or Internet Explorer). And a difference between a program you want to make money off of (Windows XP, for example).

Not everything should be open source. Society just can't live that way, especially American society.

Well, All I can say is, it's about time someone start hitting up valve. This super delay in CZ it's karma's payment to them. I don't believe that many people would be interested in CZ with the outdate of graphics and such, many games have been created with much greater graphics in less time than this CZ. Valve is just getting slapped around. Applause because I would have done the same thing. If I could. I'll still probably buy CZ and cs2, if the graphics are compensated as they should be. Can't keep a market on wait.
