SinaC the question you should be asking is; is TsN getting anything for promoting this contest? If so, then your right this is some sort of advertisement, because its a paid announcement. Which in my opinion isn't bad because lets face it, we've all become very sterile to the whole experience. I know how you feel though, i used to hate that even the internet is becoming polluted with ads, however this is the 'price' you pay for living in a democratic society.

this promotion post should not be a big deal. TsN gives a LOT to the community and you don't have to pay them a dime in return. The problem is we have been short on normal news, read state of nation proly.

You guys should be happy that they are giving away all these video cards. Even if it doesnt have to do with csn it has to do with counter-strike does it not? if u could do 1 of the things they ask write a poem make a video ect...and you won would you say naw i'll pass i dont want the greatest graphics card on the market for free.
