I don't know about the X-Box but the PS2 has 2 USB ports that you can plug a USB compatible mouse and keyboard into, weather or not the video game you're playing actually supports that control method is the problem, because even on ports it's usually dropped the same way ports to the PC have there game pad support dropped(rhythm, racing, fighting, puzzle and platformer games suck without a game pad)but anyways my point is that the argument that consoles suck because they don't have mouse and keyboard support is completely invalid because they do have that support. I think if you really want mouse and keyboard support then you need to write a letter to the company that's making the game that your interested in and tell them you're not buying the game unless they include it.

that's a negative Req.. xbox didn't allow for usb mice and keyboards to be used on the system.. word on the street is that there is a mouse and keyboard in development.. but i heard that rumour a while back.. before halo was out
