Go to C:\Program Files\Steam and delete the file named "clientregistry.blob". Make sure you have Steam shut down when doing this. Start it back up and enjoy.

Ok thats great now fix CS. Make aztec run good again, fix the hitboxes, fix the shield exploits (would rather just see it go away), make the in game font smaller or whatever needs to be done to make statsme and other text show up correctly, fix the issue where we lost the ablility to chat when dead sometimes etc. etc.
OH and damnit, how about putting 1.5 away like you said you were going to? You said WON and 1.5 would be gone two weeks after 1.6 and steam came out. So now we update our server and half our regulars left us for 1.5 servers. Bah!Comment

Geez, this is insane.....I turn on CS - AGAIN - and hope it works this time.....servers start to fill up again, finally, and when I try to connect.....it doesn't recognize my SteamID ticket.....bloody wonderful.

after delecting the .blob file every time i go back into steam it checks for updates????

I find that if I have any problems with Steam simply running a scandisk (for windows users, not sure 'bout linux and RH) Most of the problems are solved such as; no servers showing up, not being able to connect, steam not starting, dump logs being created and other shizzle.
Not being able to type when dead and stuff can just be fixed by pressing Esc and then going back into the game.Comment
