Steam Friends Network Down

Update #3: I believe that everything is back up now. I am not sure but I hope so.



Update #2: It seems that some people aren't having any problems and some people are...I am sure they are working on it as we speak. I will let you know when everything is back up.



Update: It seems to me that it's not only the Steam Friends Network but it's numerous Steam features. You can't view servers in the server list, you can't start up a server and etc...If this is wrong, please correct me.



Apparently the Steam Friends Network is down. I noticed some problems with not receiving messages today so I am guessing that they are working on it now. I am sure VALVe will optimize Friends to run very nicely as soon as possible.

Hopefully they can also get to work on those messed up buttons. Actually things are shaping very nicely together..and besides the shield im quite happy with 1.6

the weird crap on the buttons? just delete the .blob file in the steam directory :)

You may notice that the status page on the steampowered website has disappeared, too. Maybe this means HL2 is coming out?

it seems that the server list is down also. I turned off all the filters and still no servers will come up at the moment, and no i am not using a proxy the server list always worked until just now
