Finally, CAL-i returns to action tonight. A lot of the teams have made roster changes during the two week break for getting used to 1.6. Though CAL has disallowed the use of the riot shield for now, we will see if the teams will be utilizing the new galil and famas or just sticking to the same old guns used in 1.5.
The map tonight is de_cpl_fire. The distance between the two bombsites plays a major factor for the cts on this map. Communication and correct rotation will be key for the teams to have success.
This will be the 7th match of the season, and there are two teams that are yet to lose. Everyone's favorite team, 3D still sits on top of the Delta division with their 6-0 record. They face off against e7 tonight in CAL's match of the night, but e7 is a disappointing 3-2 so far this season so 3D is a pretty heavy favorite.
The other undefeated team is the CAL-m moveup, u5 (4-0). They have shown the world that they can play with the big boys. Tonight they take on TAU (3-3), but with the long break and the release of 1.6 they are not a sure lock for this match.
The battle for the Theta division is the closest one so far this season. EG and Rival have matching 5-1 records as they prepare to face off tonight. This is a big match for both teams as these two points may prove crucial later in the season.
Another interesting match will be TSG taking on shock in the battle for the lead of the Gamma division. Shock is just one point behind so with a win tonight they will take over the division in what has been a very successful season for them.
HLTV has not been updated for 1.6 yet, and the availability of scorebots is questionable at best.[break="For all the match ups click here"]u5 (4-0) vs. TAU (3-3)
