HLSW v1.0.0.9 Beta Released

HLSW v1.0.0.9 Beta has been released. This version now supports SteamIDs. This version also contains support for Jedi Knight 3, MSN, Trillian Pro and a new View Manager has been integrated that can be used to arrange the main view to your requirements.



In my opinion, HLSW is the best free server watching/connecting application. From easy connecting to gameservers to live-reporting of a match into an Internet Relay Chat, everything is possible with HLSW.

Should still work if you just go to you hlsw settings / halflife settings, and browse to

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\e-mail folder\counter-strike\hl.exe

About LogMod, I thought the new HLDS doesn't need LogMod to forward logs. You can forward logs to as many different destinations as you want, without it. Or are you using OLD stuff???

Yeah its true with some cryptic commands you can forward logs to multiple people with HLSW. Or just use logmod and it automatically forwards logs to another person when they request it.



But thats not the feature I want. When you use HLSW to look at a server running logmod it shows the wonid, model and ping of the players on the server. Without requiring rcon access. So I can see who really is on the server if they are using an alias.



With this new version of HLSW you have to rcon in, retreive the logs and everytime a player is mentioned in the logs HLSW updates their steamid in the player list. A bit of a crappy method imo.
