SteamID Lookup Tool

Kane has updated the WONID Database to handle SteamIDs as well as the remaining WONIDs. The address has also changed to http://steamid.elite-pimps.com/, however the old address will still work including any older scripts based around it.



But that certainly isn't all! Kane also went ahead and wrote an AMX plugin that allows for in-game wonid/steamid lookup functionality using the new web related compatibility in the CS 1.6 MOTD file. Have a look:

there was a million people with their wonID set as 1337 before Steam even came out. I think it's just fake account on the rosters or people playing from lan centers who don't have to put down a real ID.



otherwise they are going to be in for a treat when they forfiet their match because they don't have 5 valid players with matching steamIDs.

#4 VAC blocks basically any attempt at having it be clientside, thats why theres no more HLirc, or HLamp.

Nice, I got this plugin on my server as soon as I found out about it and it works really well. Only thing I saw wrong was the .db team <team> command.. I tried putting in .db team intimidating all hope and all it searched for was intimidating. Other than that, great great great plugin
