HLSW v1.0.0.8 Compatible with CS 1.6? Yes

The lastest version of HLSW, v1.0.0.8, is compatible with Counter-Strike 1.6 but requires some modifying of settings. To make HLSW work with Counter-Strike 1.6, you must open HLSW, and go to settings/settings. Then, double click Half-Life. Next, you have to change the directory at the top to C:\xxxx\SteamApps\email@email.com\counter-strike and change the "file" to hl.exe. btw, all-seeing eye requires no extra configuration, it automatically detects all the games. I didnt have to do anything when i installed halflife, cs 1.5, cs 1.6, steam, and MOHAA. GG ASE

there is no need for any such programs anymore. The new server searching setup of cs 1.6 in conjunction with friends is far better than hlsw or any programs like it.

indeed... if i want hlsw is for its remote console features. As Server browser ASE is much better. Without SteamID support is just garbage fo me.

ok I used to loooove hlsw and its still good, but if ur steam was running normally you would realize that hlsw is worthless now. steam server browser + friends is better than any third party software out there. and in the middle of the game if u wanted to join a new server, u would hafta exit out of cs and go to hlsw to connect. Why do that when its now all integrated and u can do everything in game?
