nahh hes not joking about the huge amount of hs in 1.6; u fire a 5rd burst and if even 1 shot hits u got like 0.5 prob. of getting a hs with at least one of the other bullets.

forums give an SQL error. i see 1.6 going to 1.7 in a hurry with the amount of bugs and exploits that exist now (especially with shield)

No joke about the headies - it's headshot fest in some servers. I would venture that as many as half of my kills are headshots from a Galil when I'm a t. It's pretty crazy.



I hate that AMX blood mod - it gives away positions, blood trails on the ground are cool, but not squirting blood. I got nailed on militia through the roof cuz some blood trail was shooting out over the edge and someone sprayed the roof from underneath where I was standing.

The shield bugs were all fixed for the current release. I tried out all three methods for the shield blocking exploit. None of them worked and the shield now functions as it was intended. Throughout the entire beta the shield had one issue or another but they fixed it when it really counted, the public release.

problems with the sheild:



You cannot have a silenced USP with it, even if it is silenced boefore you pick up the shield



When you are in spec mode (1st person), on someone wih a sheild... and they are using a usp.. it doesnt look like they are shooting even though they are.



Same situation, but with a glock, the glock like shakes off the screen when they fire.



annother.. if you charge a person with a sheild, if you like run right up to them, half the time bullets go through (usually a headshot)

*sighs*...well so much for the fusion pack or realism pack. You can't use it, every single server has that blasted "Enforcing file consistency" thing.



I'm not some jerkoff trying to put in a great big blue blob for a player model...I just want a decent looking game rather than the **UGLY** defaults.



I guess I'm forced to accept them for now. =/

you can use custom models, i got an error when i tried too, but then i deleted all the p_models from the model folder and then everything worked fine. Sounds, sprites, models all worked. I wouldnt recomend using player models because 1.6 has new animations and stuff not included in other models, so you get weird actions, especially if someones using a shield.
