Steaming Up

steam is working fine at the momentf 4 me but ive had to reinstall it 3 times, pretty stupid im just going to try my custom mdls that i copied from 1.5... i wish we could just have a patch... cus alll this failed conversion crap is confuzzling. and if i downloaded steam with cs on sunday the 14th was it full?

i cant wait for new 1.6 mdls and titles to come in...

ive never had to reinstall it.

steam repairs itself if it fails/crashes.

does with me anyway.

Cabal I get that problem too. If you look in ur error logs folder inside Steam folder AND look at the latest error log it will tell u that it couldnt get a valid content ticket. So Basically when the server ur connected to is maxed out all the games will be greyed out. Try reconnecting.

im thinking along those line too... dang these ppl make me crazy... more than 3 days on this Steam thing and things happen... love Steam though

steam can eat my ass.. it freezes when i tell it to download the 350 mb to play cs.. i go to launch cs and it says steam will download blah blah and i lcikc ok and steam freezes1! grr

Hey guys i have steam and i played beta version and it was ok but if u think about it now CS will be like a n00b fest! riot sheilds left and right it will be nuts, i just hope it doesnt get toooo crazy. and i already have steam, so do i need to Download ne thing so i can play 1.6 when all servers are up?

Well had my first game of 1.6 today on a UK2 pub. Played as Ct's on Aztec snuck round a corner in the pistol round and got head shotted by a T with a Glock! Thats right a one shot kill with a fucking Glock of all things! It seems to me after playing a couple of rounds that it is un natrualy easy to get head shots on 1.6.

sorry guys, but i dont have cs 1.6 yet. are you saying that the shield blocks the awp bullets entirely so they have no effect???

and also, do i need 1.6 to plaay steam, cos i was about to d/l it?

ive just gotten hold of cs1.6, though cant play because steam wont work with the firewall. the firewall cat be disabled, so i cant play. what can i do??
