about the titles.txt.. i made my own if any of you want it. it replaces the weapon menu names and is updated for 1.6, instructions inside:

problem with the shield right now is the invincibility-when-not-deployed exploit which needs to be fixed before any leagues consider using it. they could just ban the use of this exploit but it's so freaking easy to do it could be done by accident, which is unfair to the other team + the player who would get banned for inadvertently activating it.Comment

I cannot agree with comment #98 more, this is the best sense ive seen in the past few day sand 1000's of other comments. Im losing my patience with half-life, and it bugs me when I read "well you shouldnt bitch blah blah blah dont use it then blah blah blah dont buy it blah blah blah dont install it blah blah blah" comments because I would like to be able to play in a few weeks when WON is dead...Comment

abel....i cant get that to work...does it actually work on ur system? ive tried numerous things to get this to work in the past 24 hrs with different titles.txt files and yet none work. I personally think steam doesnt load this file up
looks like fake names have been forced upon us with steamappended @ [time="1063666019"]
as i feared. its been annouced that the weapon names have been hardcoded in :| the only way to get real names is if u use the shitty classic style vugi boooo!!!

Well STEAM has certainly gone out of their way to give us an easier method to update our games and a new version of CS. But nothing could be farther from the truth. Why fix something if its not broken? Then come the arguments about all the cheaters and God know there are plenty to go around. Steam may solve that problem. Goodbye WON hello STEAM verification even at a lan party! WTF? This is the point where I smell a conspiracy. Has anyone ever heard of End of Product Life? Interestingly enough CS:Condition Zero will be out later this year and HL2, maybe this month. Its funny how STEAM releases this product in the wake of the news about HL2/CS:CZ. Whats next WON going down forever? No more CS 1.5?
DoD? etc... Thanks STEAM for really screwing things up with a product that was not quite ready for public consumption. Oh! I almost forgot the new Aztec additions and Airstrip are really top notch to bad I lost all MY custom maps.
